As a future dentist, I know that there are a lot of foods that I shouldn’t be eating: sweets, crunchy foods, and anything that will stain my teeth. However, cooking (and eating what I make) largely contributes to my overall happiness. In other words, I’m not willing to give these foods up. With a proper understanding of oral health, I believe that I can maintain my current eating habits without compromising my teeth and gums. As I begin my dental adventures this summer, I share my love of food studded with tiny morsels of dental bites (dental tidbits really). I hope that reading this blog will fill both mind and belly while helping you to maintain a healthy smile.
